Windigo offers all standard
services, as recommended by the manufacturer, as well as most
mechanical repairs. We use BMW original parts or
equivalent quality parts from German manufacturers. We use
Castrol 20W50 for vehicles requiring conventional oil and BMW
5W30 for those requiring synthetic. We also have
Castrol 10W60 for the "M" models which require it. We use
a current generation Autologic® diagnostic tool to help
us accurately diagnose and repair newer
models.
Oil
Service
Factory recommended oil and
filter change, washer fluid, fuel additive, thorough inspection of
vehicle and reset service light.
Inspection
Service
This is like a traditional tune-up
plus the Oil Service. There are two inspection services, minor
and major. Depending on the model and year, inspection
services are performed at approximately 20,000 or 30,000 mile
intervals, and alternate between the minor and major versions. These
are described in your BMW Service and Warranty booklet.
General
Services
Other general service functions to
keep your vehicle running properly and protect its internal
systems. These include brake fluid flush, power steering fluid
flush, coolant replacement, and accessory drive belts.

Diagnosis
Our primary technician has been with Windigo
for over 21 years and has a wealth of knowledge about BMWs. He
has an array of diagnostic tools, including the Autologic®
tester. Autologic® is probably the most
comprehensive diagnostic tool to be offered to independent BMW
garages. Control units can be replaced and most can be
trial substituted. Autologic® provides real-time data including
graphing, component activation, adaptation clearing, engine
adjustment setting - petrol and diesel models, coding of
accessories, coding of body modules, programming of engine and
transmission modules, cover of all car key memory functions and read
and clear fault codes.
Repair
We offer repair services for most of
the mechanical and electrical systems. This includes engine,
cooling system, power steering, brakes, suspension, driveline,
transmission, air conditioning and many miscellaneous items like
cupholders and plastic underbody parts.
